Kurdish Red Crescent in northeast Syria receives aid from Kurdistan Region
Derik, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Kurdish Red Crescent in the northeast Syria regions received a new batch of medical aid from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
“The aid was sent from the Sulaymaniyah-based Nehri Organization in Kurdistan Region,” said Ahmad Sheikhmous, co-chair of the Kurdish Red Crescent.
In an exclusive interview with North Press, Sheikhmous said that the aid was consisted of 190 packages containing about 1,200 kg of medicines and medical equipment such as disinfectant, injection and first aid kita.
He pointed out that this aid will be distributed to the medical centers in the north and east Syria’s regions to be given to the sick.
This is the third batch of medical aid provided by the same organization as a support of the northeast Syrian regions.
