Iraqi refugee, Syrian IDP killed in Syria’s Hawl Camp

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press ) – On Tuesday, unidentified persons, suspected to be ISIS sleeper cells, killed an Iraqi refugee woman and a Syrian IDP in Hawl Camp, northeast Syria.

Shayma’ Aziz Younes, 38, an Iraqi refugee woman who was living in the first sector, was found shot in the head, a source of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) said.

Also, Muhammad Musleh Wakka’, 27, a Syrian IDP, who was living in the fourth sector, was also shot in the head, according to the source.

Since mid-June, killings have been increased inside the Hawl Camp, the last of which was the assassination of two Syrian sisters yesterday. 

Last week, two Iraqi refugees were killed, followed by an assassination attempt of a Russian woman using sharp tools.
