59 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria’s northwest

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday , the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 59 new cases of coronavirus and 35 recoveries in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 653 suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 25,367, including 707 deaths and 22,204 recoveries.

On Monday, northwestern Syria recorded 43 new coronavirus cases and 45 recoveries.
