IDP camp in Syria’s Raqqa receives 80 families
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Tel Abyad IDPs camp in Raqqa countryside, northern Syria, received 80 new families, said Ali al-Ebo, an official at the camp, on Monday.
“The camp received 80 new families after completing the preparation of a new section next to the camp,” al-Ebo added.
He pointed out that they received between 920 and 1,000 families of those who want to reside in the camp, but only 550 families can be included in the camp.
Tel Abyad IDPs camp is located in the town of Tel al-Samen, north of Raqqa, and it includes 860 tents with a total of 750 families.
It was established in November 2019 after the Turkish invasion of northeast Syria.
