Explosion kills security member in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, a member of the Hawari (Rapid Response) of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) lost his life as a result of a landmine explosion in Manbij, north Syria.

A mine planted near al-Fath Mosque in the western part of the city exploded during the passage of a Hawari patrok.

According to an informed source, one Hawari membr lost his life and two others and a civilian were critically wounded and were subsequently transferred to Berkal Hospital in Manbij.

On March 2, an explosive device exploded in the same place near al-Fath Mosque, injuring a civilian. He was subsequently transferred to Manbij hospitals for treatment.
