Syria’s northwest records 192 new coronavirus cases
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 192 new cases of coronavirus and 37 recoveries in its areas of control in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 535 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 24,257, including 680 deaths and 21,015 recoveries.
On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government announced the recording of 185 new cases of coronavirus and 142 recoveries in northwest Syria.
Since early May, northwest Syria has been witnessing a remarkable increase in the numbers of coronavirus cases, according to the announced numbers.
