American forces conduct patrol in Syria’s Derik countryside

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of the city of Derik in far northeast Syria.

Local sources from the village of Ain Dewar, north of Derik, told North Press that an American patrol roamed the northern countryside of Derik.

The patrol consisted of four armored vehicles and two helicopters providing air cover, according to the sources.

On Friday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the southern countryside of Derik, where there are oil wells. The patrol consisted of four armored vehicles without air cover.

On Saturday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the northern countryside of Derik, which consisted of four armored vehicles without air cover.
