Russian forces patrol in Syria’s Derik

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Russian Military Police conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik in the far northeastern Syria in coincidence with US patrol in the same area.

A Russian patrol roamed in the western and northern countryside of Derik, local sources told North Press.

The patrol consisted of four armored vehicles accompanied by two helicopters, according to the residents.

Meanwhile, local sources stated that a US patrol roamed in the northern countryside of Derik.  

The patrol consisted of four armored vehicles without air cover.

This morning, the US forces conducted a military patrol on the road between the city of Qamishli and Tirbe Spiyeh, northeastern Syria, where the oil wells located. 

Yesterday, the US forces patrolled in the countryside of Derik.
