Syria’s Idlib records 25 new coronavirus infections

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 25 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 25 cases of the virus and 29 recoveries.

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 485 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,823 including 641 deaths and 19,877 recoveries.

On Saturday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 18 new coronavirus infections.
