Syrian government shells opposition posts in Idlib, Hama countryside
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Syrian government forces renewed their artillery and missile strikes on the sites of opposition groups in the Idlib and Hama countryside, northwest Syria.
Speaking to North Press, military sources said that Syrian government forces stationed in Jurin Camp bombed the villages of al-Ankawi and al-Haluba, in Ghab Plain, west of Hama.
In Idlib, government forces renewed shelling the villages and towns of al-Fatira, Fleifel and Sufuhn in the Zawiya Mountain area, south of Idlib, from their positions in the surrounding checkpoints.
The shelling coincided with intense flight of Russian drones over the target areas in the northern Idlib and western Aleppo regions.
At dawn Sunday, government forces shelled the sites of the opposition groups in the towns of al-Fatira and Kansafra with artillery shells and rocket launchers.
