24 new coronavirus infections, eight recoveries recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 24 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 24 cases of the virus and eight recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 452 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,718, including 641 deaths and 19,745 recoveries.
On Monday, areas of northwest Syria recorded 47 new coronavirus cases and 55 recoveries.
