Bodies of two drowned brothers found in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the bodies of the two child brothers, who were drowned in the Euphrates River in al-Shuhail town in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor 4 days ago, were found.
A fisherman found the two bodies after they floated over the water, a local source from al-Shuhail said.
The fisherman was able to take out the two bodies of the Euphrates River near the city of al-Mayadin, according to the source.
Volunteers from the town headed to the river to look for the bodies after the parents’ appeal on social media.
Drowning cases in the Euphrates are frequent, and most of the victims are children, and they increase in the summer.
