Northwest Syria’s Idlib, Aleppo countryside announce 7 coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of seven new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded seven cases of the virus and nine recoveries.

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 165 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of the infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,630, including 638 deaths and 19,670 recoveries.

On Friday, areas of northwest Syria recorded 10 new coronavirus cases and 17 recoveries.
