Unknown individuals kill three brothers in Syria’s Tabqa countryside
TABQA, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, unknown individuals killed three brothers in Tabqa countryside, north Syria, while working in fishing near the Euphrates Lake, west the city.
The three brothers were lured by two unidentified individuals pretending to help them in transferring their fishing boat on Saturday at dawn when they were shot in the head, a relative of the victims told North Press.
42-year-old Khalid al-Jarrad, 39-year-old Ibrahim, and 38-year-old Hassan are from al-Walladah clan from Bu Asi village, west of Tabqa.
The same source stated that the unknown attackers fled towards the Syrian government-held areas south Tabqa, and that “so far, we have not been able to find out the reasons and motives behind the crime.”
A source from the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) said that investigations are underway to reveal the circumstances of the crime.
In July 2020, unknown individuals killed a father and his son south of the city of Tabqa with on the government-held areas and then they threw hand grenades at a barn.
