Two killed and others wounded by ISIS in Syria’s Hama countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, two civilians were killed and others were wounded in an attack by ISIS in the countryside of Salamiyah, east of Hama, which is under the control of the Syrian government.
The state news agency SANA reported that two civilians were killed and others were wounded in an initial toll of an armed attack by ISIS while they were collecting truffles near Twizin Dam in the vicinity of al-Zwaina, east of Salamiyah.
ISIS members have kidnapped dozens of civilians while they were collecting truffles in the town of al-Saan, in the eastern countryside of Hama, according to SANA.
On March 2, a civilian was killed and others were wounded in an attack by gunmen on shepherds in al-Rahjan region in the countryside of Salamiyah.
