IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, Russian warplanes launched air strikes in the vicinity of one of the Turkish points in Idlib, northwest Syria.
“Russian warplanes conducted several air strikes around the Turkish point in the town of Bsanqol and al-Qyasat area in Jabal al-Arbaeen region, south of Idlib,” field sources told North Press.
The Russian raids were less than 100 meters away from the Turkish point, according to the sources.
The sources added that the bombing resulted in the injury of two members of the National Front for Liberation who were working in the area accompanied by dozens of Turkish members.
The sources indicated that Russian warplanes used cluster bombs, and targeted the area with vacuum missiles.
The bombing coincided with intense flight of Russian drones over Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Latakia.
