American forces conduct military patrol in Syria’s Derik countryside
DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, in far northeast Syria.
Local sources told North Press that the American patrol left the agricultural airport in the village of Rubaria, southwest Derik, which is used by the Global Coalition as an airfield.
The patrol consisted of three armored vehicles, without air cover, and headed to Derik city.
On Monday, American forces conducted a military patrol in the southern countryside of Derik, where oil wells are located.
On Saturday, American forces conducted a military patrol that reached the village of Ain Diwar, north Derik.
