SDF members killed in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, unidentified persons, who were riding a motorbike, assassinated three members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in the town of Thiban, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
“Masked men fired at a security checkpoint of the SDF, inside the town, killing 3 members and wounding another,” a military source told North Press.
The source added that the attackers fled.
On April 4, an SDF member was shot to death by unidentified persons in the town of al-Sha’fa, east of Deir ez-Zor.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has witnessed assassinations and widespread and intense bombings in recent times, targeting members, vehicles and military points of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
