Russia, Turkey conduct joint patrol in Syria’s west Kobani countryside

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Russian military police and Turkish forces conducted the 49 joint patrol of its kind in the west Kobani countryside.

The patrol that consisted of eight Russian and Turkish vehicles exited from the village of Ashmah, west Kobani.

The patrol roamed the villages of Jareqli Foqani, Jebnah, Bayada, to Zor Mighar opposite to Jarabulus on the east bank of Euphrates River.  

After reaching Zor Mighar, the patrol headed immediately to the east passing by Bayada, Jebnah, Mishko, Binder, Qarah Qawi Tahtani, Qola, Sosan, and then to the Iza’a, west Kobani.   

The patrol roamed in the villages of Seftek Qeran, Boban, Khorkhori, Dikmadash, Qeran, and Jareqli Foqani.

The Turkish military vehicles returned from the gate near Ashmah village, while the Russian ones returned to their center in Iza’a, west Kobani.

On March 29, Russian military police and the Turkish forces conducted the 48th joint patrol in the east Kobani countryside.
