Unknown individuals attacked SDF post east Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, unknown individuals attacked a military post of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) east Deir ez-Zor, injuring two members

“Unknown persons, who were riding a motorbike, targeted a military post of the SDF in the town of al-Tayyanah, east Deir ez-Zor,” a local source said.

“After the targeting, clashes erupted and lasted about an hour,” the source added.

As a result of the clashes, two SDF members wounded, while the attackers fled, according to the source.

During the past period, ISIS claimed several operations that targeted people and SDF members.

The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has witnessed assassinations and widespread and intense bombings in recent times, targeting members, vehicles and military points of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

On March 28, clashes erupted between a patrol of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council forces and a group of armed men, likely to be affiliated with ISIS, in the town of al-Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor.
