Mutual shelling between government forces and opposition groups northwest Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the armed opposition groups bombed positions of the Syrian government forces in Zawiya Mountain, south Idlib, amid military escalation in the de-escalation zone northwest Syria.

“Al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room targeted the government forces in the southern countryside of Idlib with heavy artillery shells and Grad missiles,” field source told North Press.

While the government forces bombed the fortifications of the armed groups south of Idlib.

“A governmental bombing with rocket launchers affected positions of the armed groups in the town of al-Bara in Zawiya Mountain, south Idlib,” local sources told North Press.

The bombing resulted in devastation in private and public property without casualties reported.

The al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room includes Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza and National Front for Liberation affiliated with the Syrian National Army.
