Turkish forces bomb positions of government and Russian forces in Syria’s Idlib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian armed opposition groups bombed the positions of the  government and Russian forces in Idlib countryside, northwest Syria, with heavy artillery shells and missiles.

“The Turkish forces deployed in Zawiya Mountain, targeted the positions of the government forces in the town of Khan al-Sebl, southeast of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells,” military sources of the opposition told North Press.

The sources added that the Turkish shelling resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of government forces’ members.

On Wednesday evening, Ansar al-Tawhid group bombed positions of the government and Russian forces in the village of Dadikh, southeast of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells and Grad rockets, according to the same sources.
