Sheikh of Shammar tribe meets General Mazloum Abdi
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On the eve of Newroz Day, sheikh of the Shammar tribe in Syria, Hemeidi Dahham al-Hadi, congratulated the Kurds on the occasion of Newroz Day, during his meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), General Mazloum Abdi.
“Happy New Year, this greeting is for the Kurdish nation in general. We have come to General Mazloum to congratulate him of Newroz Day on behalf of the entire region,” al-Hadi said.
“We hope to celebrate the victory and we hope security and peace to prevail in the region,” he added.
Al-Hadi wished “the return of safety and stability to all of Syria, recalling the important role of the SDF in defending the security of the region.”
