No coronavirus cases recorded in Northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded no coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached eight and it has tested 598 suspected cases reporting no deaths.
On March 16, the Interim Government recorded 13 coronavirus infected cases and eleven recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,247 including 637 deaths and about 19,195 recoveries.
