Air strike targeted Syria’s Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday evening, the Syrian capital, Damascus, witnessed large explosions resulting from the bombing by “warplanes.”

“At exactly 10:49, the warplanes flew over Damascus, and later huge explosions were heard,” residents in Damascus said.

Media close to the Syrian government reported that Damascus was targeted by Israeli warplanes.

“The air defenses of the government army confronted enemy missiles over the capital, Damascus,” the media stated.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior page posted that “the air defenses responded to an Israeli aggression on the southern region, without specifying the targeting sites.”

No official agency revealed the details of the raid and the sites targeted.
