Mortar exploded in Syria’s Ain Issa, child killed

QAMISHLI, Syria (north press) On Monday evening, a child was killed in the town of Ain Issa, north of Syria, due to a mortar explosion of the remnants of the Turkish shelling on the town.

“The 12-year-old child Ahmad Ibrahim Abdulrahim, from Ain Issa, was killed by a mortar shell of the remnants of the Turkish bombing, which had fallen earlier and had not exploded” a military source told North Press.

In the past months, the town of Ain Issa witnessed frequent indiscriminate shelling by the Turkish forces and Turkish-backed groups, while the past days have witnessed a relative calm.
