Future Syria Party commemorates 10th anniversary of Syrian war in Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Future Syria Party made a speech in front of its headquarters in the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria, on the 10th anniversary of the Syrian war.

The statement was read by Saleh al-Zawba’, head of the Relations Office of the Future Syria Party in the Jazira region in the presence of dozens of its members.

He stressed the necessity of the end of the authoritarian regimes and the elimination of all forms of discrimination.

The statement indicated that the Future Syria Party, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are determined to solve the Syrian crisis through dialogue, based on UN Resolution 2254.

“On this day in Hasakah, we recall the 10th anniversary of the Syrian revolution, the revolution that began with a peaceful movement in Daraa, southern Syria, where the whole Arab people rose up,” al-Zawba’ said.

He added that the Syrian government, during the past ten years, “has displaced Syrians internally and externally, and has used Iranian and Russian forces to stay in power.

He pointed out that the radical organizations such as ISIS, al-Nusra Front, and others that were sent by Turkey, were the reason for destroying the Syrian revolution and diverting it.

He demanded the necessity of a new constitution for Syria that should be written by the Syrians without exception, because the old constitution does not serve the Syrian people.
