American forces patrol in northeast Syria’s Derik
DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the American forces conducted a military patrol in Derik countryside, in the far northeast of Syria.
Local sources from the village of Ain Dewar, north of Dirk, told North Press that an American patrol arrived at the village and met with the residents.
The patrol, consisting of four military vehicles with no air cover, the source added.
On March 11, US forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, roamed the oil-rich southern countryside of Derik, and then headed towards the Semalka border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG).
Earlier this day Russian forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, consisted of three armored vehicles accompanied by two helicopters.
