Russian forces patrol northeast Syria’s Derik
DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Russian Military Police conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, in Syria’s northeast.
The patrol, which consisted of three armored vehicles accompanied by two helicopters, reached the village of Ain Dewar, north of Derik.
After that it headed towards the Roman Bridge on the Syrian-Turkish border, and then headed back to its bases in the city of Qamishli, southwest of Derik.
On Wednesday, Russian Military Police conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik.
Russian Military Police patrol the countryside of Derik at least twice a week.
