SHADDADI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, theMartyr Families Council in the city of Shaddadicondemned the visit of the delegation of the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) to the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (KRG) through a statement to the public opinion.
The co-chair of the Council in Shaddadi, Naji Njoom, told North Press that “the SNC is the one who supports terrorism.”
“The SNC committed multiple crimes, including killing and displacing innocents, when it occupied some regions in north Syria with Turkish support,” he added.
Njoom pointed out that the delegation’s visit to KRG affects the regions of northeast Syria and “disturbs the Kurdish unity agreement.”
On Tuesday, a delegation of the SNC arrived in Erbil, the capital of KRG, for a three-day visit. The head of the delegation, Nasr al-Hariri, met with former KRG president Masoud Barzani, drawing the ire of many observers.
