Syrian-Israeli deal includes secret terms other than vaccines: political source

RAMALLAH, Syria (North Press) – A political source residing in Israel said on Sunday that the Israeli-Syrian deal concluded recently under Russian auspices, which led to the recovery of an Israeli woman who crossed the border into Syria, bears secret, undisclosed terms.
In an interview with North Press, the source indicated that the Israeli censorship leaked the issue of buying a small amount of Russian COVID-19 vaccines for the Syrian government with the aim of silencing the claims and pressure operations that the Israeli public has exercised on the government to reveal the secret clauses.
But the deal included more important secret clauses than the vaccine purchase story, according to the source.
He believes that what is secret in the aforementioned deal is much greater than what was announced, as it relates to matters that take into account an immediate interest have not been revealed yet.
He revealed that Israel enters into secret agreements with the countries of the region at every moment.
The deal could open the way to another deal between Israel and the Syrian government, but all of this depends on the Iranian role in Syria, the source added.
He indicated that Israel is working hard to distance Iran from Syria.
