Syria’s northwest reports zero coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded no new coronavirus infections for the first time in the regions of northwest Syria since September 2020.

The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached 79 and it has tested 310 suspected cases reporting no deaths.

On March 4, the Interim Government recorded ten new coronavirus infections and no deaths.

With the new officially declared and undeclared statistics, Syria’s northwest areas’ toll reached 21, 208 coronavirus cases including 631 deaths and 18,813 recoveries.
