Syria’s Autonomous Administration registers 21 new coronavirus cases
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 21 new coronavirus infections and 3 deaths in its areas on Tuesday.
The official AANES Facebook account quotes Health Board co-chair Jiwan Mustafa, who stated that the new recorded infections were 11 men and 10 women.
The recorded infections in the Jazira region were 9 in Qamishli, 3 in Hasakah, two in Derik, and one in Girke Lege.
While in the Euphrates region, there were three cases in Tabqa, two in Raqqa and one in Manbij.
The Health Board also reported 3 deaths in Raqqa and 4 recoveries.
On February 28, the AANES Health Board announced 3 new coronavirus infections and 3 deaths.
According to the new statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 8,629, including 324 deaths and 1,251 recoveries.
