IED exploded in Syria’s Sere Kaniye, leaving casualties

SERE KANIYE, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, IED exploded in the Syrian Turkish-held city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), killing three people and wounding more than ten.

The explosion took place near the popular market in the city center of Sere Kaniye killing three and wounding more than ten as an initial toll, a local source told North Press. 

The Turkish-backed armed opposition groups’ members were among the wounded, the source pointed out.

On February 3, a civilian was wounded in an explosion of IED that was put in a clothes shop in Sere Kaniye.

On January 6, an IED that was planted inside a military vehicle of the opposition National Army exploded in the city.  

Turkish-backed armed opposition groups-held areas are witnessing security chaos accompanied by successive explosions, civilian kidnapping cases, and infighting, according to press and human rights reports.
