Unknown attackers kill Asayish member in Syria’s east Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, unknown attackers fired on an Internal Security Forces (Asayish) member in al-Busayrah neighborhood, east Deir ez-Zor.
“Unknown attackers shot the young man Ismail al-Ibrahimi al-Khezam death, who was an Asayish member, near al-Attal Roundabout between the towns of al-Shuheil and al-Busayrah, east Deir ez-Zor,” a source of the SDF told North Press.
The source added that al-Khezam was from the town of al-Hawayej, east Deir ez-Zor.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been recently witnessing an increase in the ISIS sleeper cells’ activities, where SDF members and the employees of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria are being targeted.
