Turkey shells outskirts of Syria’s Ain Issa

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups shelled the outskirts of Ain Issa town, 50 km north Raqqa.

The Turkish forces and the opposition groups shelled the silos east of the town and M4 Highway with heavy weapons, a military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told North Press.

The shelling targeted the northwest outskirts of the town and the villages of Abu Sirra and Hoshan on the M4 Highway.

On Sunday evening, the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition groups bombed the villages of Meshairfa, Jahbal, al-Nakhil rest house and the M4 Highway, which resulted in material damage.
