Casualties among Iraqi refugees in Syria’s Hawl camp

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found the body of an Iraqi refugee who was killed by unidentified persons, while another was wounded in Hawl camp, northeast Syria.

“An Iraqi refugee known as Abu Ammar, was shot in the chest to death,” a security source from the camp told North Press.

Also, the Iraqi refugee Sabah Jassem Muhammad, 55, was shot by unidentified persons, the source added.

The forces found the body in the first section of the camp after they received a report, and they started investigating the incident, according to the source.

Since the beginning of the year, Hawl Camp has been witnessing increasing murdering operations against Iraqi and Syrian IDPs and an Asayish member through either silenced pistols or sharp tools.
