Casualties due to VBIED explosion in Syria’s Aleppo countryside
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, a VBIED exploded in the Turkish-backed armed opposition-held town of Sejjo, near Azaz, northern Syria, wounding 5 people.
A special source told North Press that the explosion took place on the main road in the town near the White Helmets, officially known as Syria Civil Defense Center.
The explosion resulted in the injury of 5 people, including a child, as they were hospitalized to Wassim Mo’az Hospital, a medical source said.
The explosion has not yet claimed by any group.
Video footages posted on social media showed the massive damage to the neighboring houses and shops.
The region of Azaz has been under the control of the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups since July 2012.
