Russian warplanes target ISIS sites in Syria’s Homs
PALMYRA, Syria ( North Press) – On Saturday, Russian warplanes targeted sites, expected to be of ISIS, in the vicinity of the town of al-Sakhnah in the far eastern countryside of Homs, without casualties reported.
The warplanes launched 7 air strikes on the eastern and southern outskirts of the town in the middle of the Syrian desert.
On Friday, ISIS sleeper cells targeted a patrol of the Russian-backed Fifth Corps in the area, killing two members and wounding two others.
