Russian-Turkish Joint patrol in Syria’s east Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, Russian Military Police conducted a joint military patrol with Turkish forces in the eastern countryside of Kobani, which is the 43rd patrol between the two forces in the region.

The patrol, consisting of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, set off from the village of Gharib, 15 kilometers east of Kobani.

The patrol passed through several villages, including Kiri Naf, Kosk, Alisher, Jum Ali, Kurtak,  Kubik ,Satan, Tayri, Tall Hajib, Qabajiq Saghir, Boztabe, Qara Mog, Jishan to  Kharabisan Tahtani before returning to its starting point in Gharib.

The Turkish military vehicles entered through the gate near the village, while Russian vehicles returned to their base near the radio tower west of Kobani.

Earlier in February, Russian military police conducted the 42nd joint patrol with Turkey in the western country side of Kobani.
