Syria’s Kurdish-led northeast registers 7 new coronavirus cases

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 7 new coronavirus infections and 2 deaths in its areas on Tuesday.

The official AANES Facebook account quotes Health Board co-chair Jiwan Mustafa, who stated that the new recorded infections were three men and four women.

The recorded infections were three in Hasakah, three in Manbij and one in Qamishli.

The Health Board also reported three coronavirus recoveries.

According to the new statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 8,578, including 305 deaths and 1,236 recoveries.
