QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A number of missiles fell on the vicinity of Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan region of Iraq (KRG), wounding several civilians, on Monday evening.
The KRG Ministry of Interior issued a statement after the missile attack, in which it assured on several injuries and mentioned that it “continues investigations regarding the incident.”
“Two missiles fell on the Erbil International Airport and another outside the airport,” the Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) in KRG posted, without mentioning any other information.
“The missiles were launched in al-Debs region within the administrative border of Kirkuk governorate,” local media quoted security sources.
