Turkish forces target north Syria’s Bab countryside

MANBAJ, Syria ( North Press) – The Turkish forces stationed in the village of al-Sukkariyah in the far western countryside of Manbij targeted the villages of al-Boweihej and Jebb Makhzoum in the eastern countryside of Bab, north Syria, on Monday. 

“The Turkish forces targeted the villages of al-Boweihej and Jebb Makhzoum with six mortar shells,” an informed source told North Press. 

“The bombing caused material damage, while no injuries reported,” the source added. 

On Sunday evening, the Turkish forces stationed in al-Sukkariyah targeted the village of al-Hamra in the eastern countryside of Bab without reports about casualties or material damage.

On February 13, the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups targeted the village of al-Jat in the northern countryside of Manbij with medium weapons.

On February 7, the Turkish forces targeted the villages of al-Boweihej and al-Hamra with two mortar shells from their base in the village of al-Sukkariyah, causing material damage.
