Turkish bombing on Syria’s Aleppo northern countryside

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish army and Turkish-backed armed opposition groups shelled the villages of Maraanaz and Ain Daqna in Shahba areas, Aleppo northern countryside on Thursday.

“The Turkish artillery stationing in al-Buhouth base on Azaz-Yahmoul road, targeted Maraanaz and Ain Daqna with more than 20 artillery shells, without any reports about damages,” a special source told North Press.

On February 7, the Turkish forces targeted the two aforementioned villages with more than 10 shells.  

Shahba areas is home to thousands of Afrin’s IDPs, who have been forcibly displaced due to the Turkish invasion of 2018.
