Turkish army targets Russian patrol in Syria’s Manbij

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish army and affiliated armed opposition groups targeted a Russian patrol in the village of al-Jat, north of Manbij, northern Syria, with mortars, on Tuesday.

“The Russian patrol included a Russian officer accompanied by several Syrian government officers,” a field source told North Press.

“The targeting coincided with conducting the patrol which was checking the front lines with the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups,” the source added.
