Three Internal Security Forces members killed in Syria’s Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, three members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) were killed by unknown assailants in the village of Kabash Gharbi, 40 kilometers north of the city of Raqqa.
Unidentified people riding a motorcycle targeted an Asayish security checkpoint, killing three members, at dawn on Monday, a local source told North Press.
The attackers fled after ensuring that the three were killed. So far, no statement has been received from any official agency explaining further details, the source said.
On the 30th of January, a woman and her child were seriously wounded as a result of the explosion of an explosive device in a government forces’ convoy while it was passing by the central village of Kabash.
A week before that, an Asayish car was targeted at the same site. No casualties were reported.
