IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, armed groups targeted a Russian operations room south of Idlib, killing and wounding members of Syrian government and Russian forces.
Military sources told North Press that Ansar al-Tawhid targeted a Russian operations room with handmade Burkan short-range ballistic missiles in Kafr Nabl, south of Idlib.
Armed opposition forces also bombed government forces’ sites in Kafr Nabl and its surroundings.
Earlier on Sunday, government forces targeted the fortifications of the armed opposition groups in Fatira, Kansafrah, Sufohn, Fleifel, and Bara villages in Zawiya Mountain with missiles and artillery shells.
Idlib’s northern airspace, specifically the displacement camps area near the Syrian-Turkish border, witnessed an intense flight of Russian warplanes, without any air strikes, according to the sources.
