Turkey bombards Ain Issa’s villages in Northeast Syria

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and the armed groups bombed the countryside of Ain Issa town, north of Raqqa, and the M4 Highway on Saturday – Sunday night, with no casualties reported.

A military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told North Press that Turkish forces and their affiliated armed groups bombed the village of Mua’laq and the M4 highway with heavy weapons, and no casualties were reported.

Syria’s Ain Issa has witnessed tentative calm since the beginning of 2021, accompanied by the return of some of the town’s residents who fled in December due to Turkish aggression there.

At the end of January, bombardments were carried out on the Ain Issa silos, the outskirts and villages of the town, and the M4 Highway, 3 km northeast of Ain Issa, and no casualties were reported, according to sources.
