Syria’s Autonomous Administration records 7 new coronavirus infections
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 7 new coronavirus infections in its areas on Saturday.
The official AANES Facebook account quotes Health Board co-chair Jiwan Mustafa, who stated that the new recorded infections were six men and a woman.
Last week, the AANES cancelled all issued decisions regarding partial or complete lockdown in its held-areas.
The recorded infections were three in Hasakah, one in Raqqa, one in Tabqa, one in Qamishli and one in Derik.
The Health Board reported no coronavirus recoveries or deaths.
According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 8,530, including 296 deaths and 1,218 recoveries.
