Turkish forces shell villages in Syria’s Aleppo northern countryside

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition groups shelled villages in Aleppo northern countryside on Thursday.

The shelling focused on the villages of Nairabiya, Umm Hosh, Tel Madiq, Sad Shahba, and Mesheirfa in Shahba areas in Aleppo northern countryside.

“The Turkish artillery targeted the Nairabiya and Umm Hosh villages with dozens of shells, without casualties reported,” a special source told North Press.

On Wednesday, Turkish forces renewed shelling on the villages of Mara’anaz, Dayr Jamal, and Ibbin in Shahba, north Aleppo.

Shahba area is home to thousands of Afrin’s IDPs, who have been forcibly displaced due to the Turkish invasion of 2018.
